Rehabilitation of a cinema :
A new educational and friendly cinema experience at the Rex in Lorient.
SERVICE : Interior Design
CLIENT : Diploma project in collaboration with the Cinema Association "J'ai Vu Un Doc"
YEAR : 2021
My diploma project involved the rehabilitation of the abandoned cinema Le Rex in Lorient, Brittany, transforming it into a vibrant hub for education and community engagement. The new space fosters a welcoming and interactive experience, in collaboration with a cinema association that provides workshops focused on visual education.
This rehabilitation project not only revitalizes an abandoned building but also serves as a catalyst for community engagement and education in the visual arts. The result is a dynamic space that celebrates cinema and creates animation in the city center.
